What to expect as an Attain patient
1
Book an appointment with Attain
Start by clicking the "Schedule an Appointment" button and filling out your contact information. Our team will work with you to schedule your initial consultation at a time that works best for you.
2
Have your initial evaluation with an expert physical therapist
In this hour-long initial evaluation, you’ll meet with an expert physical therapist and tell them about your pain. They'll have additional questions for you about your lifestyle, past injuries, daily routines, and more. In this session, they may do some initial exercises with you to begin designing a custom treatment plan.
3
Attain creates a custom treatment plan just for you
Based on your initial evaluation, your physical therapist will create a tailored plan to eliminate your pain and strengthen your body. This plan determines how frequently you will visit the clinic, the duration of your treatment, and which exercises you’ll do. Treatment may also include recovery services like red light therapy, dry needling, muscle cupping, and more.

No, Attain Physical Therapy is proudly locally owned. We are an Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic, opened in 2023 by Dr. Benjamin Mayer PT, DPT.
The biggest difference between physical therapy and chiropractic care is that they have different focus areas. Physical therapy focuses on restoring and improving overall mobility and function through exercises and rehabilitation techniques. Chiropractic care primarily focuses on spinal alignment and treating musculoskeletal issues, especially related to the spine, through manual adjustments. We collaborate with a local chiropractor to treat patients who would benefit from both physical therapy and chiropractic care.
If your life has changed as a result of pain and you’re not able to do tasks or movements you could before, you are likely an ideal candidate for physical therapy treatment.
At your initial evaluation, you'll receive guidance on home exercises to complement the exercises you'll perform during your weekly sessions in the clinic.
The number of follow-up treatment sessions will be determined by your physical therapist after your initial evaluation, based on your specific needs and goals.
Physical therapists (PTs) typically complete a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, which includes a bachelor's degree, followed by three years of specialized graduate training, for a total of 7-8 years of education. This includes extensive coursework in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and clinical practice, along with hands-on clinical experience.
Physical therapist assistants (PTAs) usually earn an associate degree, which takes about 2 years to complete. Their education includes foundational knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic exercises, as well as supervised clinical practice.
Both PTs and PTAs must pass national licensing exams and participate in continuing education to maintain their credentials and stay updated on best practices.
We accept cash, check, debit card, and credit card. We also accept payments from HSA and FSA accounts.
